Is this product compatible with my car?
This product works only on vehicles with factory-wired Apple CarPlay. It is not compatible with vehicles that only support wired Android Auto.

This product is an adapter (wired to wireless) and must be plugged into a USB data port (not a charge-only port).

How can I check compatibility on your website?

Can I use the Play2Video Ultra if my car screen doesn't have a touchscreen?
Yes. If your vehicle screen does not support touch operation, you can use the optional remote control shown above or download the AiControl app to control the Play2Video Ultra via your smartphone.
To use the AiControl app:
- Download AiControl from the App Store or Google Play.
- Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone.
- Open the AiControl app and search for QCOM-BTD.
- Select QCOM-BTD and complete the Bluetooth pairing.
- Once connected, you can use AiControl to navigate menus, select apps, and control the Play2Video Ultra user interface on your car screen.

If I have two smartphones paired, which one will it connect to next time?
If multiple paired smartphones are nearby, Ottocast usually connects to the last used smartphone.
To switch devices, disconnect CarPlay on the current smartphone (or disable its Bluetooth/Wi-Fi), then connect the other smartphone.
Some models also support one-tap switching or manual device selection.
Can I use the device alternately in two cars?
Yes. Simply remove it and use it in another compatible vehicle. In the new car, you may need to re-pair your smartphone or perform a short initial setup.
Can I use Netflix on this product in split-screen mode?
Netflix is not supported on this product in split-screen mode.
What apps are pre-installed on the Play2Video Ultra and which ones cannot be removed?
Netflix, YouTube, IPTV, and Prime Video are pre-installed on the Play2Video Ultra.
Some important system components (e.g. connectivity/updates) are required for normal operation and usually cannot be uninstalled. You can add more apps via the App Hub.
What improvements does the Play2Video Ultra offer as an upgrade to the Play2Video Pro model?
The Play2Video Ultra has been upgraded for faster, smoother performance. It features dual-band Wi-Fi 6 and FOTA (Firmware Over-the-Air) updates (via the OttoPilot app). It supports wireless CarPlay & wireless Android Auto, has pre-installed streaming apps as well as an App Hub, and supports local/offline media playback (music and videos) via USB.
How many additional apps can I install and how do I install them? What apps are included?
You can install up to 5 additional apps via the App Hub (in addition to the pre-installed apps).
- Install / Replace: App Hub -> Select App -> Install.
- To swap them later: App Hub -> Manage -> Replace an installed app.
Available Apps (may vary by region/firmware): TikTok, TikTok Lite, tomefmobile, ARD Mediathek, VKVideo, LINE MUSIC, Joyn, DAZN, U-NEXT, Tubi, RTL+, Kinopoisk.
