NICHT kompatibel mit BMW

Zuerst sollte man ganz klar sagen, dass diese Box nicht mit BMWs kompatibel ist. Man kann zwar trotzdem eine Ottocast AI Box für BMW bekommen, aber dafür braucht man die spezielle BMW-Version, die zum jeweiligen Headunit passt.

Jetzt zur E2 AI Box selbst: Bei meinem Jaecoo 7 hat sie direkt out of the box funktioniert. Ich musste nur das USB-A-Kabel in den Anschluss für kabelgebundenes Android Auto stecken und schon ging alles los. Die wichtigsten Streaming-Apps sind bereits vorinstalliert – von Netflix und Amazon Prime Video bis hin zu YouTube. Sobald man die Box mit dem Internet verbindet, entweder über den Hotspot vom Handy oder über die integrierte Cloud-SIM-Technologie (separates Databo-Abo nötig), laufen die Videos absolut flüssig. Außerdem kann man über den Play Store jede beliebige Android-App installieren und sie genauso nutzen wie auf dem Smartphone.

Lässt sich schnell einrichten und funktioniert gut. Ab und zu braucht die Verbindung 1–2 Sekunden länger, aber insgesamt wirklich stabil.

Guter Adapter.

Er ist besser als das ursprüngliche CarPlay in meinem Auto. Die Qualität ist top und die Leistung stimmt die meiste Zeit. Manchmal hakt die Verbindung ganz leicht, aber das fällt im Alltag kaum auf. Auf jeden Fall sein Geld wert. Alles ist direkt vor einem auf dem Bildschirm zu sehen.

Funktioniert genau wie erwartet

Ich war anfangs etwas skeptisch, als ich es bestellt habe, aber nach fast einem Monat Nutzung kann ich sagen: Es funktioniert genau so, wie es soll. Besonders gut gefallen mir das integrierte YouTube und Netflix!

Das Produkt ist super, YouTube und Android Auto funktionieren einwandfrei.
