Return policy

In addition to the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, we offer a voluntary 30-day return policy (from receipt of the goods).

If more than 30 days have passed since delivery, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange. Please contact us promptly by email at support@ottocast.de.

* Price changes: For orders without a discount code, the price difference due to promotions or price changes can only be refunded within 24 hours of purchase.

* Order cancellation

  • Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase, provided the package has not yet been shipped.
  • If you cancel more than 12 hours after payment, a processing fee of €15 will be charged to cover the manual effort in the warehouse.
  • Once the shipment has been sent, cancellation is no longer possible.

Please carefully check the product information (including compatibility requirements) and the estimated shipping time before ordering. Whether a return is possible and what costs apply depends on the reason for the return.

  • Seller- or product-related reasons (we cover return shipping costs): If the item is defective or damaged, or if you received the wrong item due to our error, please contact us immediately. After confirmation, we will arrange a replacement or refund and cover the return shipping costs.
  • Customer-related reasons (customer bears return shipping costs): For returns due to reasons not attributable to a seller error or product defect, the customer bears the return shipping costs, both within the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal and during the voluntary 30-day return period. Within the voluntary return period, a processing fee of 15% of the order value will also be charged, and any applicable storage or restocking costs will be deducted from the refund amount.

Damage and problems

Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If the item is defective or damaged, or if you have received the wrong item, please contact us immediately so that we can investigate the matter and offer an appropriate solution.

Return process

  • To initiate a return, please contact us at support@ottocast.de. If your return is accepted, we will send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Returns without prior contact will not be accepted.
  • To be eligible for a return, the item must be in the same condition as when received, unused, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or other proof of purchase.
  • Return shipping costs: The customer bears the costs for the return shipment, both within the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal and during the voluntary 30-day return period, unless the item is defective or there is an error on our part.
  • Refund or exchange: Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item within 3-5 working days and then, if an exchange is required, provide a replacement item or issue a refund.

Refund or exchange

We will notify you as soon as we have received and inspected your return and let you know if the refund has been approved.

Once approved, the refund will be automatically processed within 3 days via the original payment method. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and credit the refund.

Note: We only replace items if they are defective, damaged, or were delivered incorrectly due to our error. If you would like to exchange the item for the same item, please send an email to support@ottocast.de.

Important information for a smooth return

  • We recommend using DHL for return shipping to ensure faster and more reliable international delivery.
  • The product description should be "Video Interface".
  • Please declare the value of the goods correctly according to your order invoice and the requirements of the local logistics provider and customs authorities.
  • Please do not place irrelevant brand names or misleading labels on the outer packaging.

Statutory guarantee

All products come with a statutory warranty of 2 years from the date of delivery. You are entitled to repair or replacement, and if this is not possible, to a reduction in the purchase price or cancellation of the contract.
