Order Processing Time
- Period between order placement and handover of the shipment to the shipping service provider.
- Orders are usually shipped within 1-2 business days after order confirmation/payment. Orders placed on weekends may have longer processing times.
- Our warehouse is open from Monday to Friday during regular business hours (excluding public holidays). In these cases, we reduce delivery delays as much as possible.

The total delivery time consists of processing time + shipping time.
Most of our bestsellers are shipped directly from our local warehouse via regional shipping service providers. The estimated delivery time for these is 3–5 business days.
Due to inventory shifts, limited availability, or other logistical adjustments (such as express delivery from our global central warehouse in case of local bottlenecks), the delivery time for certain products can be 7 to 14 business days.
Note: As shipping is handled by DHL/DPD, among others, there may be a 3-4 day delay in updating shipping information. As soon as a tracking number is available, we will send it to you via email as quickly as possible.
Order Tracking
- You will receive an email once your order has been shipped (the tracking number usually becomes active within 24 hours).
- It may take 48–72 hours for tracking information to update.
- If you cannot track your package, please contact us – we will resolve the issue within 48 hours.

Delivery Address & Responsibility
Please ensure that your delivery address is correct and complete to ensure smooth delivery.
- Should the package not be delivered or be returned due to incorrect or incomplete information, we do not accept responsibility, unless it is our fault.
- If the delivery driver leaves your package without a signature in a location deemed "safe", we cannot be held liable for this.
- In cases of returns due to non-acceptance or incorrect address details, we may charge a reasonable processing and return fee of up to 10% of the goods value.
Delivery Time Exceeded
If your order is delayed, please send an email to support@ottocast.de. We will contact the carrier immediately. Thank you for your understanding and support.
Order Cancellation
- Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase, provided the package has not yet been shipped.
- If you cancel after 12 hours of payment, a processing fee of €15 will be charged to cover manual handling in the warehouse.
- Once shipped, cancellation is no longer possible.
Shipping Insurance
Customers who have optionally purchased shipping insurance can claim compensation in the event of loss or damage to their package in accordance with the respective insurance conditions.

Taxes
In rare cases, customs duties, charges or taxes may be levied by your government, which are to be borne by the recipient. We have no influence on the decisions of the customs authorities. For further information, please contact your local customs office.
